Wicker Weaving Lights Path to Prosperity

 

Wickerwork is a local traditional handicraft in Tashan Town, Ganyu District, Lianyungang City, East China's Jiangsu Province. The local government has developed it as a provincial intangible cultural heritage and helped nearly 10,000 local villagers get jobs and increase incomes at their doorsteps.

Efforts have also been made to promote the wicker products online and the products have been exported to Europe, America, Myanmar, Malaysia and other countries and regions.
